Position: Sr. IBM iSeries / Showcase Warehouse Builder Administrator Level - III
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 months CTH
Required:
· This is a Sr. iSeries Warehouse Builder Support Resource, who will be responsible for L1,L2 support initially and move onto L3 support.
· Person should be well conversant with the Showcase 9-Warehouse builder tools (like Report writer, warehouse builder, warehouse manager, Data transfer from IBMi, Data Transfer to IBMi, IBM ODBC admin etc) and be able to query the AS400/DB2 databases.
· There are many jobs that needs close monitoring in terms of data upload/download jobs (again from and to upstream/downstream applications), in case of Job abend person should detect the root cause, recover the job and communicate to the relevant stakeholders.
· AS400 "Green Screen" fluency is a vital advantage since the scheduler details is on AS400 and person needs to detect the SET-ID's and if required do a process level monitoring (only in severity cases).
· This is a support position with scope of minor bug fixes, the person should be senior enough to understand the importance of job loads and dependencies and also understand the importance of data consistencies.
