Title: Sr. Java/SOA Developer
Location: Detroit, MI
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
a. Have a SOA Java development background using WS-Security, SOAP/HTTP, WSDL, XML/XSD (Schemas) or other technologies.
b. Possess knowledge and experience with different types of testing (unit testing, integration testing, performance testing.
c. Possess knowledge of enterprise and software design patterns.
d. Have experience developing web services, not just the consuming applications of the web services.
e. Perform documentation creation of Software Design Documentation (implementation level).
f. Possess experience in UML, XML schema, WSDL, Use Case and design document interpretation for enterprise level Java development.
g. Complete Java coding (implementation and enhancements) based on QR approved specifications.
h. Ensure implementations are properly documented within source and in design documents.
i. Ensure implementations are up to current standards for coding, naming, security, and versioning. This includes reviewing each class that was altered as a bare minimum.
j. Ensure implementations are adequately tested by automated tests and asserted correctly.
k. Ensure scripting for other languages (SQL, KSH, etc.) are within standard security and coding standards.
l. Ensure configurations work in all environments throughout the project in products (DataPower, WAS, CI, etc.).
m. Prepare deployment documents for the implementations they are responsible for (distributed MQ, WAS EARs, property files, software configurations, etc.).
n. Troubleshoot issues with implementations they are responsible for.
