Title: Senior Teradata DBA
Location: San Francisco, CA
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
10+ years of database administration(DBA) experience
Must have Teradata v14 Database administration experience
Hands on expertise with Teradata v12 and up
Must have hands on experience with Teradata BAR (Back up, Archive, Recovery) and Teradata Data Mover
Full range of responsibilities from Teradata administration, installs,migrations, operations, development tasks, build, trouble shooting performance issues, performance tuning, replication, disaster recovery and support etc
Capacity management/Capacity planning experience is mandatory
Knowledge of Data Modeling is nice to have. Some Data modeling may be required.
Knowledge or Oracle DB
Knowledge of Informatica Power Center 9 ETL
Experience Coordinating and Leading Off Shore Team
Experience with Agile Methodology
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
Ability to Lead, Train and Mentor Teradata DBA team members
