Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
We are looking for someone who cares deeply about creating usable experiences. The individual will work closely with a team to design and build new products and features and improve existing ones. The individual will report to the User Experience Lead.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Responsible for the look and feel, conceptual and visual development, and final execution of design directions
- Ensure designs follow visual standards as well as enhance user experience
- Work with a cross-functional team to assure consistent design and user experience online and on mobile
- Concept intuitive designs that promote usability and optimize the user experience of our products and features
- Provide support and participate in rapid iterative testing and evaluations
Skills / Qualifications
- 3-5 years creative experience in consumer web design with emphasis on branding
- 2 years' experience as a key member of a User Experience
- Knowledge of HTML5 / CSS3 / JS and or iOS Cocoa.
- Strength in sketching, wireframes, and creating high fidelity prototypes. Ability to create functioning prototypes based on low or high fidelity mockups for testing purposes.
- Well versed in design fundamentals including composition, color theory, sophisticated sense of typography, concept developmentand visual hierarchy
- Understands information architecture, user interface essentials, interaction design, brand image management and style guide creation
- Strong knowledge of user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design web sites with complex information or functionality
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and detail oriented
- Must be able to work independently and build strong relationships with functional team partners
- Strong interest in creating simple intuitive design concepts and conducting user testing and productive user feedback sessions
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field a plus
