SAP GTS Functional Consultant
Dallas, TX, USA
Primary Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with the client’s global trade compliance group, business process owners and management in identifying gaps in current procedures and methods
• Recommending solutions to improve business process through the implementation of global trade management best practices.
• Providing impact analysis on GTS upgrade
• Managing and guiding client in implementing GTS functionalities
• Working with the client to meet foreign trade guidelines
• Providing functional and technical subject matter expertise regarding SAP architecture (as it pertains to SAP GTS)
• Facilitating design workshops (Blueprint), assessments, planning sessions, etc.
Skills & Experience
Mandatory Skills
• 10+ years combined SAP SD/GTS experience
• 5+ years of GTS implementation experiencecovering all three modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management and Risk Management)
• Experience with GTS integration with other SAP modules and 3rd party applications
• Knowledge of various Export/Import control procedures and embargos, as well as global taxation
• Strong knowledge of the International trade and transit processes when it comes to cross border trade
• Strong business consulting experience
• Configuration knowledge of SAP GRC 8.0 and 10.0
• Experience in detailed SAP discovery and assessment
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, analytical and problem solving skills
• Must have worked in a matrix organization
Desired Skills
• Good understanding of technology trends and usage in company business areas.
• Experience with onsite/offshore delivery model
• Experience with Automotive industry
• Good understanding of business and functional linkages.
• Organizational competency building skills
• Team player, with the ability to establish relationships with both clients and consultants in remote locations
Qualifications
• A Bachelors and/or a Masters degree or equivalent
• 10years of experience in SAP specific solution
• Atleast 5 years of deep knowledge in GTS
