Networking Engineer
DETROIT MI
The Networking Engineer is responsible for:
• developing future vehicle bus networking strategies utilizing LIN, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, and/or other physical networks;
• development of scripts/ macros/ programs to automate/enhance Networking Development tools
• development of current vehicle CAN bus network signal/message requirements including dbc files and CANoe networking Models.
• conducting networking simulations for analyzing and optimizing bus loading and message latency.
• support root cause analysis of networking issue on existing systems.
Basic Qualifications
• BSEE degree from an ABET accredited university
• 2+ years vehicle CAN bus signal/message development experience
• 1+ years programming/ script development using a programming language such as C, C#, JAVA, Vis Basics or other programing languages
• Familiarity with DOORS and Visio
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Preferred Qualifications
• CAN FD, and LIN experience
• Familiarity with networking analysis tools
