Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills 

• 6+ years of experience with design and development in PDW.

• 4+ years of experience in the field of Data Warehousing

• Extensive hands-on experience in MS- BI  Solutions including Parallel Data Warehouse [PDW] /Data Modeling.

• In depth, hands on experience with current version of Microsoft SQL Server (internals/query optimization/administration) in the DW space, Microsoft Windows Server (incl. Hyper-V/Clustering) and Microsoft BI platform (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SharePoint, PowerPivot,  PowerView, Excel, etc.) plus competing database products.

• Advanced SQL coding skills

• Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts

• Hands on experience and good understanding of SSIS, package scheduling & deployment

• Hands on experience and good understanding of SSRS, Canned reports, charts, etc

• Hands on experience and good understanding of SSAS, Cubes, MDX

• Knowledge of SQL 2008, SQL 2012 and Data Warehouse Engineering.

• Extensive skills in SQL -Server database.

• Must have knowledge of Data migration, ETL and Data loader.
