Role : Junior ETL Developer
Duration : 6 months+
Location : Dallas, Texas, United States
Interview : Phone/Skype
Description:
· Using the application, demonstrate data extraction, from large database, repositories, and databanks.
· Demonstration shall include ETL of flat files, compressed files, and partial datasets.
· Engineer ETL services and integrate through backend interfaces with web services, message queues, asynchonous and synchronous direct binding. Engineer monitoring and reporting dashboards and other mechanisms to show dataflow progress during the ETL process
· Engineer quality checks of data through the ETL process. Sprint engineer new ETL processes for new datatypes
· Document system design, code, and user documentation for the ETL process. Complete problem tickets for bug fixes, design modifications, and enhancements to meet customer requirements
Required:
Ø 1+ year experience with ETL related concepts
Ø Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL (database related projects)
Ø Oracle is preferred
Ø Strong understanding of current programming languages
Ø Solid understanding of the latest technology trends
o Previous experience in the following is a plus:
o Experience with Business Objects Data Integrator/Data Services XI for ETL (Business Objects / SAP ETL tools)
o Experienced developer with expertise in Oracle PL/SQL
o Experience with Oracle database
o Strong XML developer concepts
o Experience writing and executing test plans and test scripts
o Retail/Ecommerce Domain Knowledge
o Experience with UNIX to DOS (Windows) conversion and development on a UNIX platform
