5+ years experience as a DBA/Data Architect
Great communication
UDB DB2 database design
SQL tuning
UDB DB2 data administration experience
Specialized with warehousing environments.
Design, develop and understand Data Models.
Working with HA and DR systems.
 
Behaviors:
Ability to lead meetings
Work with Application development teams to design database
Ability to articulate and enforce standards
Ability to work independently
Able to communicate status and technical issues to upper management
Ability to work with and direct service provider DBA's
Ability to understand and define requirements.
Should be able to architect database, to be aligned with application storage, memory and performance considerations.

Preferences:
Familiar with Chrysler processes.
Proficiency with Manufacturing domain.
Understanding of DB2 on Mainframes.
Good hands on with Unix Shell scripting.
Sound knowledge of supporting databases primarily on AIX and Sun platforms.
Strong understanding of database partitioning features.
