We are looking for Web Server Developer for one of our client at Wilmington, DE. Please let me know your interest.
Location: Wilmington,DE
Duration : 6+ mnths
Rate : $50/hr.
Candidate will be responsible for implementing, and supporting next generation systems, architectures, and applications.
Skills in order of importance:
1. Web Server Support [Apache/Tomcat, IIS]
2. Internally developed and 3rd party vendor application support
3. DB Support [SQL, Oracle]
4.JBoss
5. Network Administration/Support
6. Enterprise Infrastructure Support
7. Ability to interpret application code in logs
8. Windows Administration
9. UNIX / LINUX
Responsibilities:
* Support and maintain configuration management
* Support the business continuity strategy
* Provide daily system/application administration
* Monitor and proactively support system/application capacity planning and analysis
* Understand IT best practices around ITIL/SDLC/Agile frameworks
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for defined applications
* Research and evaluate alternatives in order to recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution that meets business requirements and IT standards
* Provide direction and guidance to other Application Support Analysts
* Provide management of licensing, system maintenance and equipment support.
* Provide ownership and accountability for incidents related to defined applications
* Must be available to be on-call as this is a support role
Qualifications
* At least 5 years in an IT role with at least 2 years in technical support role
* Some background in software development
* Proficient at creating support documentation
* Technical training on UNIX, Windows platform design and support
* Strong working knowledge of scripting languages and programming methodologies (mobile technologies included)
* Formal knowledge and practice of the Quality Process, Project Management and Agile philosophies and principles (KanBan)
