Description
· Network Engineer – Top Gun - Palo Alto Firewalls
· 3+ years of expertise and knowledge with Palo Alto Firewalls.
· Performs planning, design and implementation of WAN/LAN and data center network related changes, enhancements and upgrades.
· Experience in management of similar enterprise scale deployments using Palo Alto Firewalls.
· Experience in management of (4,000 Cisco network devices, 10,000 servers) particularly where high-density virtualization of computing and network infrastructure has been deployed, and must have top-notch data management/analysis skills. Extensive knowledge of network technologies (QOS, TCP/IP, WAN acceleration, firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancing) and concepts is necessary.
Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Requires a bachelors degree and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and dir
