Job Title: Mobile Apps Program Manager
Location: 12+ months with Quarterly Renewal
Duration: San Jose, CA
Requirements:
Mobile Apps Program Manager will be responsible for handholding the stakeholder's request through the process. He/she will need to see how it fits into their overall strategy on their website.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and staying up-to-date on mobile industry capabilities, global trends and clients competition
- Strong Project management with timeline management to drive projects business, quality assurance, cost, and schedules goals are met
- Use and analyze Companys App metrics to set business priorities and directions
- Gather and document business, functional, and interactive requirements
- Evaluate mobile development vendors
- Has a strong technical understand of mobile App development
- Optimist approach to stakeholder participation
- Plan and conduct usability studies for App improvements
- Drive App consolidation efforts with various stakeholder groups
- Be the single point of contact for escalation of development issues, and collaboratively work towards a reasonable solution
- Proactively identify measurements and mitigate project risks
- Expert of Mobile apps latest trends (such as Android or IOS apps).
- Focus on mobile apps on iTunes.
- Oversee the mobile apps, websites and project manage the different vendors for a deeper understanding of apps.
- Understand metrics and leverage them on mobile apps like GPS and mobile camera.
- Analyze the advantage and disadvantage of the mobile website and will make recommendations to the stakeholder.
Skills Required
- BS/BA/MBA equivalent degree
- 5+ in Digital web or mobile project management
- Strong knowledge of mobile App development
- Ability to communicate to both business and technical requirements
- Technical SEO knowledge and metrics understanding
- Self-starter, conscientious and proactive, with the ambition and vigor to integrate in a fast-moving and successful organization
- Proficient in common communication applications such as Microsoft Office suite and Adobe products
- Excellent communication skills
