REQUIREMENT #1:
Title: Business Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 9-12 months
Rate: $45-50/hr C2C
Need some locals with previous state of OH exp
Mandatory BA Skillset:
· Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
· Evaluate information gathered from all sources, vet & transfer high-level information into details, help facilitate a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the true needs.
· Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the required artifacts (e.g.: functional & business requirements, use cases, and GUI) as needed.
· Leverage experiences with requirements definition, collaboration, project methodologies.
· Successfully engage in multiple project initiatives simultaneously.
· Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers.
· Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions and facts to successfully execute plan.
· Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including, but not limited to: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
· Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the ITS project team.
· Ensure the proper use of standards (e.g.: forms, templates, processes, & procedures).
· Collaborate with project team to help establish the technical vision of the business requirements.
· Analyze & recommend tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
· Serve as the primary liaison between the business, project team, and other required groups.
In addition to the Mandatory Business Analyst Skillset, candidates will have an understanding of and be able to interact with the IT project team on topics related to, but not necessarily limited to the following:
· Microsoft ASP.NET
· Visual Studio 2010 / TFS 2010 environment
· XML
· Oracle and SQL databases
· Microsoft SQL Server 2010
REQUIREMENT #2:
Title: Application Developer
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 9-12 months
Rate: $45-50/hr C2C
Need some locals with previous state of OH exp
Mandatory developer skillset (listed in priority order):
· Microsoft ASP.NET C # (Framework 4.0)
· Visual Studio 2010 / TFS 2010 environment
· XML manipulation
· PDF editing
· Oracle SQL proficiency (required for only one developer, but all nine months)
· Microsoft Entity Framework
· Microsoft SQL Server 2010 programming and basic administration
· AJAX & Microsoft AJAX Control Toolkit
· IIS 6.0+ configuration and administration
Work assignments will consist of, but may not be limited to the following:
· Correct application deficiencies
· Create and implement new functionalities
· Standardize and/or create form templates
· Modify and/or automate form intake process
· Ensure workflow uniformity across the state (88 counties)
· Improve system “ease-of-use” and data quality
· Assist with data conversion
· Design and development reports
