Rate: $65/hr all inclusive

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Develops programs, applications, and code to meet organizational or project objectives; involves less complex programming requirements and specific applications which typically involve a single functional area. However, if demonstrates competencies role could be expanded to more complex requirements.
Troubleshoots and tests programs to ensure operational quality and integrity. Migrates code from Development, to Test, to Production environments.
Serves as a team member for projects, meets with project management and development leads to understand roles, and business requirements.
Utilizes a matrix of other professionals to understand and isolate problems, resolve questions and concerns, and provide customer service.
Project (how does this affect the company/why open?):The project will be a high visibility internal project and is related to our clients'sales and associated channel partners.
They are creating a common data model and dynamic structures for channel partner reporting. Initially, this will be a pure development role, but as knowledge is gained more leadership is a possibility.
Top Three Must-haves:
Informatica PowerCenter 9.1 or higher
Self-sufficient, with leadership potential (similar project experience to allow them to hit the ground running is key)
Troubleshooting existing mappings and workflows from multiple databases
Soft skills:
The position will likely be heads down at first, but with contractors who have led the project falling off soon, he will potentially need someone who can step into that role. This group works often with the BAs, so communication between all teams is important.
Selling points:
Manager is flexible on working in the office, more-so than the rest of the company. It is expected to be working in MPLS, but if travel is required to work he will accommodate.
Team dynamics and business:
How will this individual fit into the team and how collaborative will this role be?
There are 4-5 other ETL developers on this team.
The manager is not technical, so they will be reporting to a very SR. ETL lead.
Ideal candidate: Solid ETL Informatica developer with project experience working multiple databases and creating workflows and datamaps.
Possesses the understanding of being self-sufficient or knowing when and where to ask for help.
