Job Summary – The Systems Analyst is responsible for performing analysis of new and existing systems to understand the impact of proposed modifications, including input/output requirements, information flow, and hardware and software requirements. Also, the incumbent is responsible for designing and executing appropriate documentation, testing, debugging and support processes in accordance with departmental policy.
Major Responsibilities / Activities –
Performs analysis of new and existing systems to understand the impact of proposed modifications, including input/output requirements, information flow, and hardware and software requirements.
Analyzes alternative methods of problem resolution to provide optimal solutions.
Develops proposed systems solutions and detailed programming specifications, including logic charts, database designs and record formats, for delivery to technical staff.
Provides technical guidance to programmers and other staff.
Prepares new programs and program modifications using current specified design techniques..
