We have a requirement for a subcontractor for Infosys. The details are as follows: 

 

Number of Openings	1
Duration of Hiring	6-9 months
Skill	Production Support. Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell, SQL, Perl, Batch
Years of experience	6+ Years
Offshore/Onsite	Onsite
Must Have Skills:	1-2 years of relevant application support experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell, SQL, Perl, Batch Outstanding interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills 3+ years in Windows and Linux administration Previous exposure with any or all of the following technologies is preferred: .NET, Microsoft IIS, Apache Web Server, Tomcat, jBoss, Windows Server, Linux and/or various types of Unix
Responsibilities:	Work in a team atmosphere to categorize, prioritize and assist other Administrators – this includes multiple teams with multiple levels Assist with building new application components and planning production cutover and release activities Coordinate with data center operations, system & network administrators, test and development groups to provide highly available IT applications for both internal users and DIRECTV customers. Participate in on-call rotations in a 24/7 atmosphere Handle production and test issue escalations Maintain proactive monitoring to ensure 99.999% availability on mission critical IT applications for both internal and external DIRECTV customers Participate in Project Team meeting sessions and provide task level detail feedback to the Project Manager or Project Lead Drive project timelines and ensure that team meets project deadlines Assist with Production and Test release support Ensure resource availability for off-hours support as needed ·         Work in an on-call rotation to support a 24x7 environment
Other skills	Media Domain Knowledge will be added advantage.
