Job Description :

Role : Hadoop Developer

Location : Snellville, GA

Duration : Long Term

GC and Citizen

Responsibilities:

· Mentor and serve as an advocate for best practices;

· Design, develop and maintain solutions for Terabyte scale data analytics;

· Design, develop and maintain services and interfaces to allow for cross product communication, data analytics, reporting, and management;

· Involved with full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, implementation, and testing;

· Work cooperatively in an Agile team structure to deliver value to our clients, internal and external.

Qualifications:

· Degree in computer science or related field of study;

· Experience developing Hadoop based applications is critical;

· Experience creating and maintaining web services;

· Experience in C# and Windows based development a plus;

· Experience developing for database technologies such as MSSQL or Postgres;

· Experience writing parallelized data driven algorithms.
