Quality Assurance Engineer/Test Analyst @ Salt Lake City (Utah)

Experience with payments technology and industry 

 Required Skills/Qualifications:

 

·         Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, is preferred

·         7+ years in software Quality Assurance building and maintaining Test plans, Test Procedure, Test Strategy, preparing Robust Test Cases, Test Scenarios and Test Scripts.

·         2+ years of experience testing Java/J2EE web-based systems.

·         1+ years of experience writing and executing test automation scripts using either QTP or Selenium

·         Solid experience in unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, performance testing and browser compatibility testing

·         Experience with Agile and other rapid application development methods

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software

Preferred

·         Preferred skills include any of the following: working with testing automation tools like Service Virtualization (LISA), HP Load Runner, HP Quality Test Professional, HP Quality Center, Test Data Management (TDM), test coverage, Eclipse, and preparation of automation test framework in the Mainframe area

·         Experience writing SQL statements

·         Experience in test-driven development a plus

·         Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation is a plus

• Experience with Kanban preferred.

·         Experience with coding skills across a variety of platforms (Oracle, XML, and Java) is a plus

·         Any of the following test certifications - QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, ISTQB - are a plus
