Job Title: Redhat Linux Administrator

Duration: 6 months

Location: Pleasanton, CA

 

·         Compliance commission and change management for patches

·         Experience with Ruby scripting

·         Linux release exposure

·         Audit what is out there for patches and work with admins who will apply the patches

·         Understand commands

·         Exposure to scripts and procedures

·         XLS management for tracking patches

·         Allocation of storage

·         These folks will need to track patches for the environment and work with admins to get them applied

·         to the environment

·         Track changes made the environment

·         Requirements

·         5-8 years of LINUX administration experience

·         Strong experience with Redhat (RHEL)

·         Experience with CENTOS preferred

·         Strong scripting experience—prefer ruby scripting

·         Patch management

·         Experience with  basic security principals – roles, profiles, scriptwriting
