Job Title : JAVA Developer

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: 6+ months

 

Job Description :

 

Key skills:  Front developers with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery

Prefer : eCommerce domain but not a must

Prefer : Angular, Express, React and Node js but not a must

 

Ø  Extensive Web development experience preferably in ecommerce with hands on knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the modern and emerging frameworks that support these technologies;

Ø  Experience with Angular, Express, React and Node is preferred

Ø  Strong understanding of the principles core to any high-availability, high-volume application; concurrency, redundancy, distribution, visibility.

Ø  Should be comfortable describing the inner workings of a technology in prose or pictures  with varying levels of detail, depending on the situation , including servers, classes or objects or APIs.

Ø  Ability to write front-end code  with great level of quality.  Exposure to backend code during web development is preferred..

Ø  Have site performance profiling and code-tuning expertise

Ø  Have experience using source control systems (Git, Subversion)

Ø  Will be responsible for design, coding, code-review, collaboration, projects both big and small, deployments, and last but certainly not least, production support!

Ø  Will be the principle implementer of new features and will be involved in projects throughout their lifecycle and have input on the business and technical direction.

Ø  Will collaborate with a multitude of roles; creative, user experience, quality assurance, development – all working to create the next big thing.

Ø  Performance will be of utmost importance , will need to constantly  figure  out how to cut that extra time out of your code execution.

Ø  Will be part of a tightly integrated team and collaborate  for brainstorming, designing and implementing new solutions, as well as suggesting tools, technologies, and best practices to improve stability, performance and site quality.
