Long-term contract.
Major entertainment firm in NYC is looking for Core Java Contractor for a long-term project
Application Security
Knowledge of security risks such as Cross Site Scripting, Cross Site Request Forgery and SQL Injection attacks.
Expertise in best practices for systems security
Some understanding of oAuth and single sign on is a plus
Administration and Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting a server platform – memory leaks, server overrun with stuck threads etc.
Being able to address performance/resource concerns
Familiar with JProfiler
Experience working with logs for monitoring, troubleshooting etc.
Java/Object Oriented Architecture(required)
A strong understanding of Service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Understand of design patterns such as Observer, Singleton, Factory, Builder
Experience with cloud based deployment/applications (nice to have)
Strong understanding of MVC - Struts, Spring….
Strong understanding of MVP frameworks
Experience with ExtJS a plus
Working knowledge of RDBMS and other database options such as non-structured db's (knowledge required but not expertise)
Build Process, version control (nice to have)
Knowledge of CVS, SVN and Git for source control
Strong understanding of scripting build processes
