Job description:

Assist with the evaluation of the existing high-level requirements and adjust/refine as needed.
Attend project meetings, provide meeting agendas and notes, and give status reports.
Assist in developing project/application documentation, or other lifecycle artifacts, as necessary.
Interview Subject Matter Experts (SME) from various components to identify business rules, requirements, and other related facts. Work with the SMEs during the application build phase.
Develop a new Web application using OQDM standard practices and design according to the specifications.
Allow for future expansion of the application to include all workloads.

Qualifications:

Senior-level experience and expertise developing complex Web applications using .NET, C#, Visual Studio, and MVC framework.
Ability to develop utilizing SQL against potential DB2, Oracle, and SQL server databases.
Senior-level expertise in SQL.
Experience with RDBMS and database design.
Ability to develop reusable components and SQL-stored procedures.
Ability to identify implicit and explicit requirements, perform data analysis, interpret business rules.
Ability to analyze BIG/Oracle EPM dashboards to understand and translate the built in functionality into the application.
Ability to work independently.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to write system and user guides.

We are seeking a Java Developer who will support several projects for the Enumeration Support branch of a federal agency. This effort will include but is not limited to the Design, Development, and implementation of existing processes; and any upcoming projects. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Information technology support services contract for the SSA.

Description of Work:

· Provide web development/architecture support to the government client and enable design, development, and implementation for the Enumeration project and any upcoming projects.

· Oversees business/user requirements efforts as part of a full systems development lifecycle and provide critical technical recommendations/solutions for complex problems.

· Directs the business process reengineering and/or business/user requirements efforts for major projects and contribute to technical and design discussions

· Mentor developers and provide technical documentation support.

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree and 13 years of related experience or 17 years of experience will satisfy degree and experience requirements.

· 7 years of experience with Java and JEE (Web and Batch) technologies.

· 5 years of Object Oriented Analysis skills with experience in design documentation

· 5 years of experience in Object Relational Mapping technologies like JPA/Hibernate

· 5 years of experience in SOA and web service technologies

· 5 years of experience working on Struts framework and writing complex SQL queries.

· 5 years of database experience with relational database systems like DB2, Oracle

· 5 years of experience using the IDEs like RAD, RSA

· Experience in messaging technologies like MQ series

· Experience in different application servers, preferably IBM WebSphere application server

· Extensive knowledge of Design patterns and UML experience

· Must be outgoing and comfortable with working with a large group of customer contacts.

· Experience performing systems analysis for systems that cross multiple components and impact multiple systems including the use of Context Diagrams and System Flow diagrams.
