Detailed Job Description:

A) Mandatory Skills

New contractor onsite in Elmhurst IL by March 2015 The contractor to serve as a BI Business Analyst and Cognos developer Role for US Regional Finance team. Upon successful review of resume a Written, Verbal and Cognos Skill test will be administered.

Responsibilities :

• Work with Business analyst to capture technical requirement

• Built Technical Specification documents

• Develop Cognos Report and TM1 Cube

• Coordinate with Offshore developer to share requirements , development work.

• Provide development status to Project Leads .

• Able to handle multiple projects on priority basis , should be switch easily from one task to other

Skills

• 3+ years hands on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying reporting and analytical applications using Cognos

• Experience with Cognos 10 Framework Manager, Query Studio, PowerPlay Studio, and Report Studio

• Two years hands-on experience with Cognos TM1

• Experience with end-to-end data warehouse and enterprise BI projects or program

• Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail

• Very strong SQL skills required

• Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business and technical communities

• Excellent written communications skills

• Basic Unix Skills

B) Optional Skills

• Power Point

Relevant Experience:

• 5 + years of Cognos experience in the US

• Cognos 10 Framework Manager, Query Studio, PowerPlay Studio, and Report Studio
