Position: Java Back-End Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 12+ Months
Below are the requirement and what client is looking ..
Requirement:
What the Manager Looks for on Candidate Resumes:
• Overall development experience of 9 -10 years – 9 years of experience is senior level – 10 years of experience tend to have lead experience
• Manager reviews the last 2 projects and the length of the projects the candidate held. If candidates have held a lot of short term projects it raises questions as to why
• What was their role and responsibilities while on the project
• What technologies did they use on the project to develop the application
• The companies they've held recent projects with, larger companies are more attractive
FYI – We are on a J2EE Platform - Programming language Java5 and Java6 – depending on project
Back-End Developers primary responsibility will be designing/coding the back-end/business logic of the application
Need to know what are the core skills the Project team is looking
ABSOLUTE MUST:
- STRONG OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING KNOWLEDGE (OOP)
- SOLID SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYLE (SDLC) KNOWLEDGE
- Experience working with the following technologies: Java, JEE, EJB, JMS, JDBC, XML, Web Services and SQL
- Experience with the following are a plus: Swing, Struts, Hibernate, JBoss, Websphere, Oracle and Linux
Candidates must know best practices development and know/follow coding standards
Candidates need to have a solid understanding of OO Design and recent experience with the following technologies:
Java, JEE, Struts and/or Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, EJB, XML, JMS, and strong SQL knowledge
The following skills/knowledge are a PLUS:
CMS and Mobile Development, Secure Coding Practices, PCI Data Security Standards, OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project)
