Job Title: SAP PI and ABAP Consultan

Job Description:
The SAP PI and ABAP Consultant will design and code medium to high complexity software objects and maintain applications to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional specifications. In addition, SAP PI and ABAP Consultant will execute and document tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets the documented requirement requirements. The SAP PI and ABAP Consultant will document and assist in defining the functional and technical requirements of the application and support configuration changes to packaged software applications to meet business process requirements.
Requirements:
1. Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP/PI/Interfaces
2. Process Integration (PI) Upgrade to 7.X experience. Completed at least one complete cycle of PI system upgrade
3. Have knowledge of Net Weaver Development Infrastructure / SLD
4. Have knowledge of integration between SAP products and non-SAP systems using IDOC, ABAP proxy, file, web service and interface types
5. Strong skills in configuring standard PI adapters, IDOC, RFC, ABAP and Java Proxies, File, FTP, JDBC adapters, SOAP, Web Services, ALERT framework, proxy setup, ports, RFC destinations.
6. Have experience in PI Administration of Integration engine, Port maintenance, and managing queues.
7. Have experience in PI configuration including integration builder.
8. Experience with Runtime Workbench tool for interface monitoring, analyzing application log for error resolution
9. Knowledge of PGP encryption settings
10. Have good knowledge of ABAP and JAVA developments
11. Have the ability to work with the functional and technical teams to collect overall PI requirements, design, develop and configure PI repository objects.
12. Make recommendations on performance tuning and maintenance of the PI system to the infrastructure and Basis team
13. Have good knowledge about SAP PI error handling strategy and framework
14. Experience in PI Performance Tuning techniques
15. Understanding of PI object transport process thru the landscape
16. Have exposure to SAP Solution Manager as a monitoring tool for SAP PI
17. Good understanding of Change management process
18. Creates Comprehensive technical program documentation including specifications, test plans, etc
19. Monitor, communicate, and troubleshoot issues with data integrity, data design, functional and technical software issues
20. Conducts design reviews and presentations
21. Strong written and verbal communication skills
22. Available to work onsite Monday – Friday for production support and special projects and on occasions available on weekend for any development support activities.
Technical Skills
· Experience and knowledge with FICO, SD, HR, MM, PM or PS Modules
· Experience with ABAP programming and knowledge of RICE, ALE, BAPIs, IDOCS preferred
· SAP Netweaver and NWDI, PI, Streamserve
· IS-PS/ECC, IS-U/UCES (Utility Customer E-Services) and Biller Direct
