IT Service Management developer - ServiceNow
Background
Developer with hands on experience working with IT Service management tools, specifically ServiceNow. ITIL V3 foundation certified and understands ITIL concepts well
Job responsibility and requirements:
Work with project team to deliver ServiceNow – Calgary or Dublin release.
Recommend ITIL and ServiceNow best practice for configuration
Document configuration information as part of the implementation
Participate in daily Agile SCRUM meetings and update Microsoft TFS
Contribute to architecture discussion and conversations across other infrastructure teams including but not limited to Microsoft Systems center, networking and Windows active directory
Work with project process team to understand process requirements and translate into technical specifications for implementation
Education and Experience:
Required:
1 year of hands on experience working with ServiceNow product
1-2 ServiceNow deployments in an enterprise environment
JavaScript and PERL programming experience
Experience developing custom integrations with ServiceNow
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both business and technical audience).
Good documentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office 2010 tools, Visio, and various screen capturing tools
Desired:
Experience working with LDAP, Active directory and Microsoft Systems center 2007/2012 tools
(SCOM, SCCM) and integrating / interface with ServiceNow
ITIL V3 foundation certified
BS degree in Computer science.
