Sr Java Developer with SAP NetWeaver Portal environment experience
Need is for a Java web developer to supplement an existing Java development team.
The candidate will be working in a SAP NetWeaver Portal environment enhancing an existing custom application.
MUST HAVE Requirements:
Minimum 6 years US EXPERIENCE & hands on software development experience & strong programming and debugging web applications: Java J2EE environment, Servlets, JSPs, JMS
MUST HAVE Development in SAP NetWeaver Portal environment
· Strong experience with the following technologies:
o Java
o J2EE
o JMS
o Servlets
o JSP
o HTML
o DHTML
o CSS
o XML
o JavaScript
· Hands-on experience with exchanging data between the web client and server in XML and/or JSON formats
· Ability to translate design concepts into well structured, functional and efficient code
Understanding the SDLC and experience with source code management with version control systems, especially Subversion / SVN
· Experience using one of the 3:
o jQuery
o Sencha ExtJs
o Touch
· MUST HAVE Development in SAP NetWeaver Portal environment
· Prior experience interacting with SAP RFCs
· Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
· Proven problem solving ability in large scale environment.
DUTIES:
· Work with the team leader to design, implement, and unit test new Java application components.
· Enhance existing components as needed.
translate business requirements into detailed technical design specifications
Comply with coding standards, source code version control, build & deployment procedures.
