Role : IIS/. Net Admin (Dot Net)
Location : Melville, NY
Duration : 12 + months
Application Operations Key activities within each area
· Responsible for the operation and administration of IIS web servers across Engineering, QA, Staging, Demo, and Production environments
· Responsible for the operation and administration of Application Deployment technologies for all environments
· Responsible for the operation and administration of Web Content Management Systems Maintains and monitors all IIS applications to ensure performance and availability. Performs troubleshooting and responses to all IIS related application issues.
· Domain Operations Responsible for the operation, and administration of network and server monitoring, in regards to web hosting
· Performs server troubleshooting and patching as needed. Performs SQL server troubleshooting in support of Application Operations
· Communications / Team work Work collaboratively with all members of the organization and foster open communication between departments
· Work independently on assigned tasks and keep manager informed of project status and issues Interface and work collaboratively with project management, quality
Qualifications/Requirements
- Need to be familiar with Windows 2008 R2
- Need to have working experience with IIS 7.5
- Comfortable working with IIS 7.5 - websites, virtual directories, application Pools, etc.
- Familiar with basic IIS security
- General Windows Sys admin experience
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience with an emphasis on IIS, Web Administration
