Job Description: Network Engineer

Location           : White Plains, NY

Duration           : 12 Months

NOTE: This position is responsible for all aspects of network –security administration including all networks, security devices on a 24*7 environment.

Technical Experience:-

Relevant industry experience in which minimum 6+  years of experience should be in handling large projects in a Network Service Delivery environment.

Skills:

• Excellent Knowledge of Cisco IOS, CATOS.
• Understanding of architecture of Cisco 3750, 4500 and 6500 switching platforms.
• Understanding of architecture of Cisco 2811, 3640 routing platforms.
• Advance knowledge of EIGRP.
• Advance knowledge of GRE, VPN tunneling technology.
• Advance knowledge of Layer 2 protocols and features.
• Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
• Supervising, coaching, and mentoring of network services assistant position.
• Facilitation and change management skills.
• Good verbal and written communications.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or Electronics, or Masters of Computer Applications.

·         Preferably CCNP certification

• Good communication skills, positive & service attitude
• Global Customer handling experience
• Problem solving and analysis skills

Strong technical understanding and an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications.
