Industry Finance / Banking / Information Technology Location Richmond, VA Job Title .Net Developer Duration 4+ Months Job Description Responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities. Includes systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces.   ·         Coordinating others work while involved with multiple work streams ·         Served as "lead" technical resource on multiple project lifecycles; Significant experience in industry (3+ years) ·         5+ years of project experience in the quality assurance and testing phases or projects ·         Capital One experienced desired ·         Deep knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures ·         Skills in object, data, and / or process modeling, business process design (5yrs.+) ·         Lean/Agile development experience (3+ yrs) QA experience preferred ·         Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members); Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals ·         Ability to influence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges ·         Demonstrated experience to influence and coordinate third parties and suppliers   Skill Set Needed: ·         Windows Scripting development ·         .NET development ·         SQL Server (Preferred, but Oracle knowledge might do as well) ·         Windows 2003 and 2008 server troubleshooting experience ·         IIS 6.0 and 7.0 experience ·         Citrix usage experience preferred ·         Experience with COTS packages and corresponding troubleshooting ·         Vendor interaction experience in coordination, design discussions, etc ·         Production support experience ·         Both internal and external customer support experience ·         Tech lead experience leading the team on design decisions and implementations ·         Experience with working with multiple internal as well as external teams and coordinating to get the work done ·         Prior Capone experience is preferred ·         Payments/Wires domain experience preferred
