Demo Solutions Senior Specialist

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Solution Experience team is an integral part of the Sales Cycle and even more importantly of the Presales cycle contributing to the Revenue generation and Growth. As part of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team, you will support organizations like Presales, Sales and Solution Management on a worldwide basis by providing the demo infrastructure and content which allows SAP to showcase its solutions throughout the world.
As a Solution Architect within the EPM unit you will be responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of the EPM solutions on the demo infrastructure, work together with the demo engineers to configure demo content, and the support of demos running on the SAP Demo Cloud. Besides hands-on activities you will coordinate and work with others to adjust, improve and innovate the solutions and delivery models to incorporate the newest technologies.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Design, planning, and coordination of incorporating the solutions on the demo infrastructure
* Implementation of installations, upgrades, migrations and system optimizations
* Work together with SAP Global IT, as well as Solution and Product Management to resolve issues and incorporate the newest technologies.
* Work together with the demo architects and engineers to configure and test demo content
* Support presales in demo content and technical related issues
* Take responsibility as team lead and support the unit lead in system technical tasks.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
* Deep technical knowledge of the SAP Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions and related components
* Knowledge of planning and consolidation applications and processes
* Ability to take responsibility proactively and deal with potential escalations
* Proven analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
WORK EXPERIENCE
* 5+ years of experience in the area of SAP EPM applications in the role of technical (presales) consultant, engineer, or similar positions
* Experience in the area of BW and / or ECC
* Experience in the area of Microsoft .Net and IIS applications, as well as the SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform
