Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 3+ Months

Job Description:

 

need developer resources with solid Java background and with mapreduce / hadoop exposure

 

•                     3-5+ years experience as a developer

•                     Hadoop, Mapreduce, Java developer with good communication skills

•                     Strong development experience in Java, Mapreduce, Hadoop,

•                     Good skills on Java and JEE development platforms, any Java certification would be good to have.

•                     Development experience is Hive, PIG, Sqoop, Flume, HBASE, Cassandra, MangoDB, CouchDB would be added advantage

•                     Experience in working in VLDB (Very large DataBase) environment.

•                     Should be able to define code pieces, components required to implement a use-case and also be able to do quick evaluation of tools for POC and provide demos to customer teams.

•                     Well versed in installing & managing Cloudera distribution of Hadoop (CDH3, CDH4,Cloudera manager, MapR, Hortonworks etc.)
