USG direct client is looking for QA Tester at Washington DC
Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills:-
The core responsibilities include, but not limited to:
§ Review functional, design, interface mapping, report specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
§ Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results
§ Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan in HP ALM tool
§ Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts including test data, data validation
§ Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes liaison with development, project management.
§ Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
§ Perform Backend database testing to validate the data using complex SQL queries, PL/SQL, Oracle
§ Perform Integration test by running ETL jobs, validating data loads, troubleshooting job execution errors and executing test scripts
§ Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
§ Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
§ Publish test metrics and issues and resolution for approval on completion of testing
§ Assist QA Lead on status, risks and their resolutions as they relate to testing and quality assurance.
§ Bachelor's degree in computer science or Engineering with 6+ years in Software Quality Assurance, Testing and Test Management
