Location: St. Paul, Minnesota

Duration: 12 months contract

looking for an SAP Redwood resource. They need someone to hit the ground running and understands the PIPO portion of the schedule, how it works with SAP and how it messages off Redwood and feeds into the next one.

CPS is the main tool the candidate needs to know forwards and backwards.

I just learned that CPS is synonymous with the technologies "Cronacle" and "BPA". If you see good experience with those than the candidate will be a fit.

Process Integration and Process Orchestration

Job description

are looking for a Sr. SAP ABAP PIPO Developer with experience developing with SAP Process Integration and Orchestration (PIPO) tools and a contagious enthusiasm for learning. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment and independently.

You will:

Create and communicate detailed project design and architecture design artifacts from which software development will take place.

Work on multiple projects conducting design, code, test, debug, document, and review development efforts.

Assist with activity, status and progress reports as well as with the creation of comprehensive test plans.

Provide estimates for assigned development activities.

Assist with the development and preparation of project plans and schedules.

Ensure delivery of high quality products by performing code review and test plan review.

Drive consistency and high standards across projects.

Operate within CHS development standards and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Remain current with new capabilities in the SAP Development framework and make recommendations when appropriate for continuous improvement.

Attend user groups, training or conferences to learn new technology and skills.

Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Basic Qualifications: (required)

Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems

5 – 8 years application development experience using SAP PIPO to include working knowledge of:

ECC6.0 or later versions of SAP

Work experience on SAP PIPO projects

Experience in B2B interfaces using EDI/ALE/IDOC interfaces

Experience in automating transaction and master data integration

Performance tuning and code optimization of PIPO interfaces

Configuration/implementation and support of IDOC, RFC, JDBC, File, Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST adapters.

2+ full life-cycle implementations including post Go-Live support.

Working knowledge of all phases of a development life cycle

Preferred Qualifications (desired):

Experience mentoring other team members

Exposure to other newer SAP technologies such HANA, Screen Personas ,and/or SAPUI5

Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP applications using a middleware such as SAP PI or SAP IS-DS

It would be someone to help set up the scheduler and dependencies. Possibly also writing scripts for the web interface connections. They also may need to set up other components of the tool. They have limited knowledge, and are getting requests to set things up that they are learning as they go
