SCOPE

 

The Consultant shall complete all of the following:

 ·Analyze and document current ETL modules. Provide recommendations for logic and performance optimization while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

· Set up and load metadata using Workbench to enable Data Stage conversion.

·Design, develop, implement, document and maintain ETL Data Stage jobs to replace current ETL modules or to meet new ETL requirements.

· Convert Oracle Stored Procedures to Data Stage applications.

· Write functions using Java and Structured Query Language (SQL).

· Provide guidance  to  DPW  staff  for  IBM  Info Sphere  Data Stage  and

· Quality Stage solutions.

· Create and maintain logical and physical data models using Data Architect.

· Provide knowledge transfer to DPW's technical staff and document all work performed.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 Consultant must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:

 

1. Must be certified as an IBM Info Sphere IIS Data Stage Enterprise Edition Solution 8.5 (or higher) Developer. Provide copy of certificates if called for interview.

 2. Four (4) years of experience within the last five (5) years analyzing, designing, developing and implementing scalable, complex, multi-stage IBM Info Sphere

Data Stage solutions.

 3. Four (4) years of experience within the last five (5) years analyzing, designing and developing data warehouses/data marts using ETL tools.

4. Four (4) years of experience within the last five (5) years programming and developing using all of the following:

 

a)    Data Stage client tools such as DS Designer, DS Director.

b)    PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures, Packages and Triggers. UNIX Shell Scripts.

c)    Data migration, data cleansing and ETL processes.

d)    Data warehousing concepts like Star Schema, Snow Flake Schema, Dimension and Fact tables.

e)    Applications for Oracle and Pure Data Analytics Databases.
