Job Description
Job Title : SQL/ETL Developer
Location : Richfield, MN
Duration : 6 Months probably Longer
SQL/PL SQL Developer(60%) and ETL Developer (30%). Successful Candidates should have in-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft SSIS and Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
Local to Minneapolis highly preferred
Primary Requirements include:
Oracle database queries and stored procedures experience
Develop reports using bare SQL
Knowledge of, and experience in, dimensional modeling
Create both logical and physical data models
Tune databases for maximum performance
Work with Business Analysts to create functional specifications and data
Develop unit, system, and integration test plans and manages execution
Transform logical business requirements into appropriate schemas and models
Familiar with Kimball data warehouse methodology
Microsoft SSIS experience
Conduct extensive data profiling on source application data
Requirements:
At least 5+ RECENT years of experience working as a SQL/PLSQL/ETL Developer in Oracle
3 years' ETL experience using SSIS
3 years' experience with ETL processing
3 years' experience utilizing data warehousing methodologies and processes
Full SDLC and Data Modeling experience
Ability to create both logical and physical data models
Ability to tune databases for maximum performance
Experience in Data Preparation: Data Profiling, Data Cleansing, and Data Auditing
Experience transforming logical business requirements into appropriate schemas and models
Strong conceptual, analytical, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in creating PL/SQL packages
Preferred:
MicroStrategy experience
Agile environment experience
DBA experience
