Senior ColdFusion Developer
Location: NYC
Duration: 6-12 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sr. ColdFusion Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting the ColdFusion platform and its applications. The ColdFusion Developer will interact with business customers, business/systems analysts, and other application developers in the design, development and maintenance of ColdFusion applications. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural and operating standards and requirements. Individual must also ready to work in 24/7 on-call support model.
SKILLS
Must have experience in design and development of ColdFusion Web Applications, including developing presentation layers using AJAX, JavaScript,HTML and jQuery.
Proficient in Web design and programming
Must have hands on experience in SQL/iSQL using MS SQL Server. SQL Server Administration skills are added advantage
Experience with the creation of packages and web services
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain ColdFusion applications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 8+ years of experience is must in application development, particularly ColdFusion applications.
Successfully completed at least 2 or more ColdFusion projects
History of leading multiple concurrent applications and performing in a variety of different roles in the projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently with little direct supervision; take initiative; willing to mentor and develop others
Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills
Strong planning, issue/incident resolution and risk management skills
Ability to handle on-call requests in L1/L2 support model
Ability to react quickly to changing requirements driven by enterprise needs.
