AWS Engineer
Manhattan, NY
9 Months
3+ years of experience managing Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with automation and configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, boto, or custom-built
Requirements
• Experience designing cloud-hosted solutions, specific AWS product suite experience
• Experience with creation and maintenance of Hosting Environments
• Experience with Jenkins and Git for continuous integration and delivery
• Experience with Apache, Tomcat, Jetty or similar servers.
• Experience with automation or scripting (e.g. Python/Perl/Ruby)
• Experience with Linux operating system
• Knowledge of networking and security concepts
• Strong written and verbal skills
• NoSQL database experience with MongoDB, Cassandra or DynamoDB a plus
• Experience working in or with a creative agency a plus
• Must be able to work independently and make strategic decisions
Duties
Responsible for developing quality software applications. Understands and documents global, regional, and local business processes for a specific business area (e.g., finance, supply chain). Knowledgeable of, configures and/or develops systems to support initial implementations and subsequent process optimization efforts. Works with IT team members to maintain solutions and ensure systems meet the needs of the global organization in terms of functionality and quality. Provides support to business associates on systems use as needed. Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) preferred in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
