Title: .NET Developer
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Type: 6 + Months Contract
Overview:
§ Heath Care Exchange Billing
§ Upgrading the server to 64bit and SQL 2012
§ Look at the pooling configurations for the servers
§ Look at the applications base code and determine what the bottle necks are for scaling
§ Must scale to handle over a million enrollees.
§ Application was designed for a different need and re-purposed for this business need. It was never designed to handle this kind of load.
Technologies & Tools:
§ .NET 3.0
§ ASP.NET Web Forms
§ SQL Server 2005 > 2012
§ Crystal Reports
§ Unit Testing
Responsibilities:
§ Conduct software development – design, construct, implement - using .NET, C#, SQL, Wintel platform tools for an externally facing web site used for group administration and billing.
§ Must have a high-level of skill with conducting performance tuning and code improvements to improve site usability performance.
§ Work in a dynamic change-focused Agile development environment
§ Work within a highly-matrixed team environment with onshore and offshore resources
§ Ability to develop software in a rapid dynamic environment with an ability to create prototype software quickly Creation and maintenance of code and system design documentation
§ Provide application support and systems maintenance for all application environments
§ Actively work to improve application software and development techniques
§ Willing to complete work in tight-timeframes, take ownership, and demonstrate commitment to complete work on-time in a quality manner.
§ Conduct software / application deployments during non-regular business hours (nights and weekends)
