I have the following position open. Please let me know your thoughts.

 

3 references required.

Candidates should have at least 84 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply: 

• Configuring, managing Linux systems in a production environment.
  
• Shell scripting experience. Familiarity with perl, ruby, javascript.
  
• Managing, configuring infrastructure and application monitoring
  
• Working with virtualization technologies and cloud services.
  
• Working with configuration management systems like Chef, Puppet, Saltstack.
  
• Configuring and managing relational database systems. Familiarity with no sql databases.
  
• Configuring and managing application and web servers.
  
• Conducting security risk assessments of protected systems and developing/recommending appropriate mitigation countermeasures.
  
• Working with log aggregation systems like splunk.
  

Please note that our client does allow Skype/remote interviews.  However they reserve the right to require an in-person interview.

 

Does candidate anticipate any absences during the engagement period?  If so, please list the start and end date for each absence.
