Duration: 6 months (Contract to Hire)

Rate: DOE

No of positions: 2

 

Required GC /EAD/Citizen Only (Contract to Hire after 6 months)

Locals are highly preferred

 

Position will be mainly application development within a Java environment.  Incumbent will work on Instant Issue and Contact Manager Development teams with responsibilities for requirements elicitation, writing use cases, developing UML artifacts, overseeing application development of vendors, working trouble tickets for the production system, working in both Agile and Waterfall environment for development.

 

Qualifications 

• 5+ years experience in design and development of web-based applications
• 5+ years experience with Java
• 5+ years experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale applications in a mission-critical production environment
• 3+ years of software testing
• 3+ years experience with JMS and messaging products (preferably WebSphere MQ)
• 5+ years experience in working with Web Services (preferably WebLogic or Apache Axis)
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
