TIBCO Administration capabilities along with EAI understanding with other TIBCO tools.
Strong shell scripting skills
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Involved in installation of various TIBCO Products, creating, configuring, deploying and troubleshooting solutions using TIBCO products.
Will be responsible for product upgrades and installations on a highly available, high performance TIBCO Platform.
Application monitoring and systems health checks and response times including responding to pages and alerts.
Lead production problem resolution including troubleshooting, documentation and communication as related to the product installation.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install / Upgrade TIBCO product suite (TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO Active Matrix, EMS, Hawk, Administrator and TIBCO Designer.
Implementing solutions in a complex enterprise environment
Responsible for interacting with client(s) for requirements.
Providing technical solutions for business problems and requirements.
Responsible for implementing TIBCO best practices from admin side.
Maintain, test, and execute disaster recovery procedures for TIBCO environment.
Troubleshoot TIBCO issues.
Manage and maintain the environments by automating systems management and monitoring activities through existing tools and new ones through UNIX Scripting.
Assist and/or work with application development teams.
Provide 24x7 on-call support of Production systems on a rotation basis.
Research and troubleshoot Integration and infrastructure issues.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
2 years hands on development experience with TIBCO.
5 years hands on TIBCO administration experience
Operating Systems: Linux, AIX, Windows.
2 years Java development and RDBMS SQL experience a plus
Experience with MQ a plus
Experience with WebLogic a plus
J2EE skills a plus
Outstanding testing, technical and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong command of the system development life cycle.
