Level 2 SQL Engineer 2 - 4 Years design and build DW ETLs; Strong Systems Analysis and Informatica Development skills; Oracle SQL expertise; Ab Initio Development a plus
Summary
The Margin Assurance team is working to develop control points from a variety of sources, combine the data and create actionable audits for exceptions. The developer must have experience building controls around ETL processes to quickly identify / resolve errors to maintain data integrity for the system.
Essential Duties
• Sequence queries from sources to develop actionable audits of falloffs
• ETL exception management and error resolution
• System processing optimization
• Documenting processes, package / query sequences and timing
• Efficiently manage loads, data enrichment and queries of large datasets
• Developing summarized actionable audit results into tables
• Managing database maintenance, quality assurance and production database environments and manage application upgrades on them
Education and Experience
• Experience: 2+ years managing large datasets with Visual Studio
• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
• Field of Study: Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business
Required Knowledge and Skills
• Manage package scheduling, timing and system optimization
• Manage multitude of data sources including Oracle, SQL Server and text files
• Develop controls around ETL process ensuring 100% accuracy and throughput with reporting to quickly identify / resolve operational defects
• Optimizing and tuning SQL statements and databases
• Proficiency with MS-Office tools like Word, Excel, Access etc.
• SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and above.
