Position:: Informatica Developer
Location:: Richmond,VA
Duration:: 1+ Year
Technical skills required:-
· Minimum 3 years of industry experience in ETL design and development using Powercenter Informatica.
· Must have full lifecycle project experience as a developer in designing and developing Informatica ETL solutions.
· Preferable project experience as a developer and in designing and developing ETL components for Operational Data Stores, Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
· Good understanding of DW concepts, Database SQL and PL/SQL concepts, unix shell scripting, standards and best practices
Roles and responsibilities:-
· Capture new requirements or changed requirements for Informatica mappings and determine the level of effort to develop/implement changes and additions to ETL
· Analyze legacy code and existing macros/scripts and transform them to ETL design documents
· ETL High level and low level design for loading 3NF/dimensional model for ODS/Data Warehouse,
· Development of complex Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows
· Design and Develop the PL/SQL routines and unix shell scripts as per requirements.
· Experience with multiple source formats like VSAM files, XML files etc.
· Conversant with loading DW and Data marts
· Plan and manage QA and Production releases and ensure they are deployed smoothly
