The Geek Squad Services IT team supports the in-store, in-home, service depot, call centers and remote "Agents" that serve Best Buy customers with technical support and repair needs.

Services is experiencing amazing growth and is expanding its of talented people that support new and existing project work and application development.

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:

  • Set up and facilitate requirements meetings
  • Elicit requirements from business teams
  • Work with product team, development team, user experience team and any stakeholders
  • Help document user stories and lead design discussion to break those into development tasks
  • Available through delivery to answer questions and do research as needed
  • Participate in the UAT testing – preferred
  • Assist junior business analysts with work direction

 

 

 

Skills Overview:

What are the MUST have skills and technologies that you are looking for in a candidate?

  • Strong BSA 5-7 yea's experience
  • Agile experience– within the past year preferred
  • Writing stories and pulling that information from the stakeholder
  • Technical background- data mapping, system flows
  • Understanding integrations
  • Development background -preferred
  • Strong user experience
  • Able to take a user story and break it down into a development task
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • UAT Testing experience – preferred
  • 6+ months project  assignments

 

What are the technologies and the depth of the technologies that a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role?

-          Microsoft – Excel

-          PowerPoint

-          SharePoint

-          Java

-          .Net
