Responsibilities:
Here is the full requirement. Knowledge of front end development is nice to have, but the java and liferay version 6 or higher is the key.
Liferay developer to our team of world-class developers. This position will work on our consulting projects, providing solutions on the Liferay platform for portals, ECM, intranet, external facing websites, branding, integration with existing applications and building custom applications. The ideal candidate will interface with our clients to refine requirements and ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget. The work will be a mix of onsite with our clients and remote work from development center in Skokie, IL. This role will be a mix hands on This position is open to full time employment, or working with us on a contractual basis.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Hands on Liferay development experience
- Experience customizing and company branding within Liferay
- Liferay version migration experience
- Experience developing Liferay for CMS, Portals, Internal and external facing website
- Java/J2EE development experience working within multiple frameworks such Spring, Hibernate or Struts
- Front end development via CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.
Preferred:
- Consulting experience - Internal or External clients
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with similar portal and ECM products and platforms
