Mandatory Technical Skills "• Five+ years of experience working with Solaris SPARC and either Red Hat Linux or Oracle Linux
• Ability to present NFS (NAS) storage to system and create appropriate mount points.
• Ability to present CIFS (NAS) storage to Windows system and create appropriate drives
• Support both NIS, LDAP - Domains, netgroups, accounts, NIS, LDAP changes, mount options
• NFS Support (v2, v3, V4, Kerberos, Netgroup exports)
• Ability to script, Reduce time and effort with some scripting
• Ability to work in a heavily regulated work environment and follow appropriate GE Healthcare, SOX and FDA rules and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to work in dynamic environment with ability to multi-task
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with global teams"
Desirable Technical Skills "• • Understanding of clustering concepts.
• Storage Foundation, Storage Foundation HA, Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC (aka Veritas Cluster server, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Filesystem)
• Red Hat Certification (Red Hat Certified Engineer, etc)
• Oracle Solaris 10 and/or Solaris 11 Certification
• Oracle RAC configuration
• Oracle Ops Center
• HP Quality Center
• HP Server Automation (aka Opsware)
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• Knowledge of GE SupportCentral tools, SupporCentral Sites
• Work on a weekend schedule
• Implement a workaround on demand
• Previous experience in a regulated industry like Healthcare, Banking, Government, etc.
