POSITION OBJECTIVE: | |
Project Coordinatorto provide oversight, leadership, and coordination for various networks IT Invest projects as well as the network portions of site-based projects. Thisposition will be the primary interface to the out-sourced Project Engineering team and will be accountable for overall project delivery by the team. This Project Manager will be involved in projects such as: new site build outs, site moves, site closures, site restructuring, technology feasibility studies, new technology implementation, and new service/process implementations. | |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:·
Provide a detailed and consolidated ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) outlining the total effort and suggested staffing, estimated labor costs and hardware/equipment/materials costs related to the project. This includes: o Supplier labor hours required plus any additional T&M costs required o Supplier travel or other pass-through costs o 3rd party vendor costs related to purchase of hardware/equipment, cabling material & labor, Rack and stack material work, etc. ·Coordinate with third party vendors, wherever requested, to collect quotes, schedule work, and ensure delivery of work according to plan for all accepted projects. This does not include ownership of payments to 3rd party suppliers. Agilent owns payment to 3rd party vendors for services rendered and materials provided.
·Communication and coordination amongst internal Supplier Project and operational teams and Users on outage, exact extent of outage, duration of outage, work around if any, who to go to for questions regarding or during outage
Please note that the consolidated ROM responsibility does not cover doing price negotiations or soliciting bids from multiple suppliers to compare pricing. This is listed as an Agilent responsibility. The communication portion cover communication to the TCS operations team and posting AlertsNow message prior to and following outages. | |

Educational Qualification: Minimum Requirements : | |
· Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) (4 yr) from an accredited University in computer networking, project management, or business administration | |
Work Experience: Minimum Work Ex. Required | |
· 5+ Years Total IT Project Management or 7+ years non-IT Project Management experience | |
