Skills Required:
Prior experience leading a migration to VMware Required 2 Years
Prior experience working with Linux Required 2 Years
Prior experience conducting a P2V with VMware Required 3 Years
Prior management of virtualized environment Required 2 Years
Vcenter Required 1 Years
ESXi Required 1 Years
Prior experience with life cycling deprecated software versions Highly desired 2 Years
Strong written and verbal communication skills Required
Question 1 - Is the candidate available for an in-person interview in Dover, DE?
Question 2 - Which projects has the candidate worked where he/she has been the manager of a P2V migration?
Question 3 - Please list projects where candidate has been responsible for bringing traditional OS (Windows/Linux) to a virtual environment.
Qualified candidates should have prior experience leading a P2V migration. Candidates will be proficient in virtualization management.
Qualified candidates will have:
Specific experience in the conversion of servers from a physical to virtual environment utilizing VMware
Experience in configuration, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of VMware vCenter
Experience in administration in a Windows Server 2008 and 2003 multi-domain environment
Experience with life cycling deprecated software versions
Excellent documentation and record keeping habits with strong attention to detail
Pluses
Excellent communication skills and Excellent Organization skills
