Job Title: L2 Application Support Analyst

Location: Irvine, CA.

Duration: Long Term Contract

 

Job Description: The Application Support Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting Autosys batch jobs, multiple functional rich high availability business applications and highly demanding business users. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to trouble-shooting complex issues, managing critical incidents and bridge calls, process improvement, automating repetitive tasks, maintaining knowledge base and documentation.

 

Work Time: This is an on-site job in the 2nd shift. Working hours are 3 PM to 11:30 PM. Should be available to work on some Holidays and some weekends.

 

Requirements:

·         At least 3 years of experience supporting multiple complex applications.

·         At least 2 yrs Autosys/Batch support experience

·         Experience working with the business users.

·         At least 2 year experience with UNIX and vi editor.

·         At least 2 year experience with SQL scripting; for Sybase and/or Oracle

·         Excellent verbal, email communication and documentation skills.

·         Excellent analytical, problems-solving and troubleshooting skills.

·         Positive attitude is a must

 

Nice to have:

·         ITIL understanding (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management)

·         Experience with PowerCenter, JAWS, and BMC Remedy

·         2 years financial Industry experience (preferably supporting front-office or back-office applications)
